Description: Learn the 12 core functions of a MH and SA counselor, screening, intake, orientation, assessment, treatment planning, psychoeducation, counseling, case management, crisis intervention, referral, record keeping, and consultation. Practice skills and develop resources in each area.

1. Introduction to the 12 core functions of a MH and SA counselor.
2. Develop skills and resources for each core function.

No refunds are made due to technology problems resulting from participants audiovisual equipment or personal internet failures. Arriving more than 20 minutes late to a virtual training may prevent receipt of full workshop hours. Participants must be on camera for the duration to receive credit for the training.
