Description:
Description: Learn the 12 core functions and 12 skills of a MH and SA counselor, screening, intake, orientation, assessment, treatment planning, psychoeducation, counseling, case management, crisis intervention, referral, record keeping, and consultation. Practice skills and develop resources in each area.
Objectives:
Introduction to the 12 Core Functions of a MH and SA counselor.
Identify and develop at least one skill and resource for each core function. Participation in breakout sessions for skills practice.

Refund Policy:
We offer a 100% refund for requests made inside 48 hours after the initial booking. After 48 hours no refund or credits are given.
No refunds are made due to technology problems resulting from participants audiovisual equipment or personal internet failures. Arriving more than 20 minutes late to a virtual training may prevent receipt of full workshop hours.
Replacement of Certificates of Attendance:
Participants will receive their Certificate of Attendance within 48-72 hours of the ACCT training completion. It will be sent to the email that you utilized to register. We encourage you to download and or print them immediately upon receipt. Request for replacement copies of certificates will be $10 per copy.
National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) Approval Statement:
Asheville Counseling, Clinical Supervision and Training has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6957.
