Following registration, participant will receive email confirmation of payment and a link for the training. A reminder will be sent 24 hours prior to the training. 

DESCRIPTION: Participants will learn the basic and advanced neuroscience of how traumatic events in a client’s life present in the fight, flight, freeze response, activating their central nervous system, triggering substance abuse, unhealthy relationships, lack of healthy attachment, making dysfunctional life choices, and chronic health conditions.

     Participants will learn 5-7 emotional regulation skills to reset the central nervous system leading to a calm grounded state to support better decision-making, healthier relationships, reduced craving of substances, and relapse prevention. 

OBJECTIVES:

1.     Participants will learn basic and advanced neuroscience of trauma and how it affects the brain and body, triggering the fight, flight, or freeze response.

2.     Participants will learn and practice 5-7 emotional regulation skills to utilize with clients immediately to support the client in regulating mood and strengthening healthy decision-making.

No refunds are made due to technology problems resulting from participants audiovisual equipment or personal internet failures. Arriving more than 20 minutes late to a virtual training may prevent receipt of full workshop hours.

Replacement of Certificates of Attendance:

Participants will receive their Certificate of Attendance within 48-72 hours of the ACCT training completion. It will be sent to the email that you utilized to register. We encourage you to download and or print them immediately upon receipt. Request for replacement copies of certificates will be $10 per copy.
