Following registration, participant will receive email confirmation of payment and a link for the training. A reminder will be sent 24 hours prior to the training.

DESCRIPTION: Participants will learn, explore, and utilize 3 very powerful counseling skills, transparency, immediacy, and self-disclosure. We’ll discuss 3-4 guidelines about the utilization of these skills to benefit the client, do no harm to the client, and keep the focus of attention on the client.

We’ll utilize case examples from both mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. Plenty of small group practice will be available following introduction of each skill. Come ready to learn and practice with your peers. 

OBJECTIVES:

1.     Learn and discuss the utilization of 3 counseling skills; transparency, immediacy, and self-disclosure as applied to mental health, substance use, and co-occurring issues.

2.     Practice all 3 skills in small group applying all 3 situations with clients in counseling for mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.

We offer a 100% refund for requests made inside 48 hours after the initial booking. After 48 hours no refund or credits are given.

No refunds are made due to technology problems resulting from participants audiovisual equipment or personal internet failures. Arriving more than 20 minutes late to a virtual training may prevent receipt of full workshop hours.

Replacement of Certificates of Attendance:

Participants will receive their Certificate of Attendance within 48-72 hours of the ACCT training completion. It will be sent to the email that you utilized to register. We encourage you to download and or print them immediately upon receipt. Request for replacement copies of certificates will be $10 per copy.
