DESCRIPTION: Learn the basics of Blood Borne Pathogens, HIV and Hepatitis C counseling. We’ll explore the ethics around screening, testing, prevention education, counseling and treatment.
OBJECTIVES:
Learn the basics of HIV & Hepatitis C counseling including prevention education, testing, screening, counseling, and treatment as an ethical requirement in substance abuse or other high-risk populations.
Develop skills in introducing the topic of prevention, testing, screening, and reduction of high-risk behaviors. Explore the ethics involved in ensuring a client understands their behavioral risk factors as well as wellness prevention factors.

We offer a 100% refund for requests made inside 48 hours after the initial booking. After 48 hours no refund or credits are given.
No refunds are made due to technology problems resulting from participants audiovisual equipment or personal internet failures. Arriving more than 20 minutes late to a virtual training may prevent receipt of full workshop hours.
Replacement of Certificates of Attendance:
Participants will receive their Certificate of Attendance within 48-72 hours of the ACCT training completion. It will be sent to the email that you utilized to register. We encourage you to download and or print them immediately upon receipt. Request for replacement copies of certificates will be $10 per copy.
