Description: Positive Psychology focuses on supporting clients to live a happy and meaningful life, experiencing a full range of emotions. This branch of psychology focuses on living a healthy life, physically, mentally, and emotionally. It focuses on positive traits of the individual and society.

As other branches of psychology focus on problems and deficits, positive psychology works to support the positive qualities of life. We will learn positive psychology skills that embrace mindfulness, well-being skills such as kindness, compassion, and social connection in both mental health and substance use recovery.

Objectives:

1. Develop an understanding of positive psychology and how to apply it through curriculum and skills.

2. Assist clients in identifying existing strengths and positive traits to build upon change in their lives.

Refund Policy:

We offer a 100% refund for requests made inside 48 hours after the initial booking. After 48 hours no refund or credits are given.

No refunds are made due to technology problems resulting from participants audiovisual equipment or personal internet failures. Arriving more than 20 minutes late to a virtual training may prevent receipt of full workshop hours.

Replacement of Certificates of Attendance:

Participants will receive their Certificate of Attendance within 48-72 hours of the ACCT training completion. It will be sent to the email that you utilized to register. We encourage you to download and or print them immediately upon receipt. Request for replacement copies of certificates will be $10 per copy.

National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) Approval Statement:

Asheville Counseling, Clinical Supervision and Training has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6957.
